Talk: Mycelium in architectural designs with Phil Ayres

Join us for an exciting event where we'll explore the cutting-edge world of mycelium-based materials and how they can be combined with digital technology and traditional craftsmanship to create innovative architectural designs.

We'll discuss how this approach can lead to the development of more affordable, accessible, and manageable human technologies that promote sustainable practices – and how aspects of this research are currently being used to realise a 1:1 woven cave for an upcoming exhibition at Louisiana Museum of Modern Art.

With Phil Ayres, professor of Biohybrid Architecture at Det Kongelige Akademi in Copenhagen.

Practical information

The event takes place in Dome of Life situated near the waterfront, in front of Kulturhuset Islands Brygge.

The talk is free of charge, but with limited seating. Get your free ticket at billetto.dk
